Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Lean Ground Beef (90% lean)
  • 1 small Yellow Onion, finely diced
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.5 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.25 tsp Black Pepper
  • 0.25 cup Plain Greek Yogurt
  • 2 tbsp Low-Sugar Mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Yellow Mustard
  • 1 tbsp Sugar-free Ketchup
  • 2 tbsp Finely chopped dill pickles
  • 1 pack (12-count) Sweet Hawaiian Rolls
  • 8 slices Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • 0.25 cup Unsalted Butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp Sesame seeds
  • 0.5 tsp Garlic powder

Instructions:

  1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the lean ground beef with the diced onions, breaking the meat into small crumbles until no longer pink and onions are translucent.
  2. Drain any excess liquid from the skillet. Stir in the minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1 more minute until aromatic.
  3. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the entire slab of rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom half on a 9x13 inch baking sheet and par-bake for 5 minutes to create a moisture barrier.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt, low-sugar mayonnaise, yellow mustard, sugar-free ketchup, and chopped pickles to create the secret sauce.
  5. Layer 4 slices of cheddar cheese on the toasted bottom rolls. Spread the beef mixture evenly over the cheese, then top with the remaining 4 slices of cheese.
  6. Place the top half of the rolls over the cheese. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, garlic powder, and sesame seeds. Brush the glaze over the tops of the rolls.
  7. Cover the pan with aluminum foil and bake for 10 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.
