Ingredients:

  • 4 (6 oz / 170g) salmon fillets
  • 1 tsp (6g) kosher salt
  • ½ tsp (1g) cracked black pepper
  • 3 tbsp (42g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves (9g) garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp (2g) dried parsley
  • ¼ tsp (0.5g) paprika

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (218°C) and line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets completely dry with paper towels and season the tops generously with kosher salt and cracked black pepper.
  3. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the melted unsalted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, dried parsley, and paprika.
  4. Spoon the garlic butter mixture evenly over each salmon fillet.
  5. Bake on the center rack for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the internal temperature reaches 130°F (54°C).
  6. Remove from the oven and let the fillets rest on a plate for 5 minutes to allow juices to redistribute.
