Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp (15g) Shredded coconut
- 1 tbsp (15ml) Simple syrup
- 2 oz (60ml) Vanilla Vodka
- 1 oz (30ml) Coconut Rum
- 1.5 oz (45ml) Cream of Coconut
- 0.5 oz (15ml) Freshly squeezed lime juice
- 1 cup Ice cubes
Instructions:
- Toast shredded coconut in a dry pan over medium heat for 2 minutes until golden-brown and fragrant, then transfer to a flat plate.
- Dip the rim of a chilled martini glass into a shallow pool of simple syrup, then press firmly into the toasted coconut.
- Pour 2 oz (60ml) vanilla vodka and 1 oz (30ml) coconut rum into your shaker.
- Measure out 1.5 oz (45ml) cream of coconut and add to the shaker.
- Squeeze 0.5 oz (15ml) fresh lime juice into the mix.
- Add 1 cup of ice cubes to the shaker.
- Shake vigorously for 25 seconds until the shaker is painfully cold to touch.
- Pour through the shaker's strainer AND a fine mesh sieve into your prepared glass.
- Add a small lime wheel or a single toasted coconut flake on top.
