  • 1 cup M&M's

Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the popped popcorn, Chex cereal, and pretzels. Stir gently to distribute the ingredients evenly.
  2. Place the butter, brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir constantly until the butter is melted and the sugar has dissolved.
  3. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil for exactly 2 minutes until it becomes a glossy mahogany syrup.
  4. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Immediately pour the hot glaze over the popcorn mixture and fold gently with a silicone spatula until every piece is evenly coated.
  6. Fold in the M&M's and roasted almonds.
  7. Allow the mix to cool completely on a baking sheet or in the bowl before serving to ensure maximum crunch.
