Ingredients:
- 1 box (15.25 oz / 432g) Spice Cake Mix
- 2 cans (21 oz each / 595g each) Apple Pie Filling
- 3 large Eggs
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan with butter or non stick spray.
- Empty both 21 oz cans of apple pie filling into a large mixing bowl.
- Add the 3 large eggs to the bowl with the fruit.
- Whisk the eggs and apples together gently until the egg yolks are fully broken and combined with the syrup.
- Pour in the entire 15.25 oz box of spice cake mix.
- Fold the dry mix into the wet ingredients using a spatula.
- Stop mixing as soon as you see no more dry flour streaks to avoid a rubbery texture.
- Spread the thick batter evenly into your prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 35 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean and the top is golden.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for at least 10 minutes until the structure sets before slicing.
