Ingredients:
- 4 (6 oz / 170g) salmon fillets, skin-on
- 1 tbsp (15ml) extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp (3g) sea salt
- 1/4 tsp (1g) cracked black pepper
- 2 tbsp (30ml) fresh lemon juice
- 1 tbsp (15ml) melted unsalted butter
- 1 tbsp (15g) honey
- 3 cloves (9g) garlic, minced
- 1 tsp (2g) dried oregano
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Pat the salmon fillets bone-dry with a paper towel, then rub each fillet with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, melted butter, honey, minced garlic, and oregano.
- Spoon the glaze evenly over the top of each fillet and bake for 12–15 minutes until edges are deep orange-pink and the glaze is tacky.
- Remove from oven and let the fillets rest on a plate for 5 minutes to allow juices to redistribute.
